Welcome to the Koi4u website

Koi4u is a family business that started as a consulting service to a group of koi hobby enthusiasts in the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal. We soon realized that there is a need for very high quality koi but at a price that is within reach of the serious koi keeper with a limited budget.

The solution was to import the highest quality koi from Japan and grow them on in our excellent climate – summer all year round! We stock hundreds of koi and cannot hope to put them all on this site. See some of our exceptional koi here. From time to time we place good koi on special low prices for the benefit of our clients and readers.

Result
Koi4u currently stock only quality imported koi at very reasonable prices. We offer consulting services on health, pond construction and also offer maintenance contracts on ponds to ensure problem free enjoyment of your precious living jewels.

This site
The idea of creating a website on koi, health, ponds and all related topics was born some years ago. With the support of friends we took this bold step in October 2008 and hope to bring insight into this fascinating hobby for all koi lovers, from the basics to those hobbyists who wish to progress their knowledge beyond the simple enjoyment of koi. It is also with sincere grattitude to our loyal readers that we can anounce that in the first 20 months after launching this web-site, a total number of 737,231 hits were received from all over the world! Amazing.

We continiously post more and more interesting facts. This is not a "seen it once, seen it all" site. (Last update:  28 July 2010)
